A Tribute to Overdrawn at the Memory Bank is a special production that initially streamed on the Gizmoplex on January 20, 2023. It is preceded by the short Better Breakfasts, U.S.A.. The main feature is a presentation of Episode 822, with a Riff-Along by Jonah Ray, Rebecca Hanson, Baron Vaughn, and Hampton Yount (whose connection was occasionally disrupted). At the points of the original episode's commercial breaks, there is either a Gizmoplex sponsor Madvertisement or an intermission/new host segment. The special is followed by a Q&A moderated by Matt McGinnis.
The Special[]
Host Segments[]
Segment One: Jonah recalls how this episode features Raúl Juliá and reminisces over his performances in Street Fighter and Addams Family Values. Crow notes that this episode is where his renowned catchphrase originated. Tom points out that the T-shirts never caught on, which Crow blames on the fickleness of Kids These Days.
Segment Two: Emily is wondering what exactly the constant beeping in the Simulator of Love is for. Crow thinks it might be a smoke alarm, but they've been previously assured that there are none installed. They discover that the beeping was being caused by a pager. This reminds Crow that he needs to be in Surgery in ten minutes. Emily tries to use it like Alexa.
Segment Three: Jonah and the Bots think about what sort of animals they would dopple into. Tom wants to include mythical creatures, but Jonah insists on real-world animals only. Tom would be an owl, which has most of the same capabilities as himself. Crow would be a dolphin and live the Sea World life. Jonah would be a snow monkey, so he could hang out at Japanese hot springs.
Segment Four: Jonah and Emily express their concern over Tom and Crow not getting enough time in front of a screen. But all the movies they've been made to watch have turned them off of viewing anything on a screen voluntarily. So the Hosts recommend trying a freemium mobile game or binge-watching the American version of The Office. The Bots prefer the British version, which causes talks to break down.
Segment Five: Tom is upset that he never got his tote bag. Crow provides a tote bag with his catchphrase printed on it. Jonah reminds Gizmoplex viewers that pledging/subscribing is not about the physical goodies, but supporting the media content. Pearl claims that there have been supply chain issues that disrupted delivery of the merchandise. Synthia wants her mouse pad, and Dr. Kabahl is getting impatient over his missing fanny pack.
Madvertisements[]
Sponsors are chosen by M. Waverly, who spins a wheel to choose the sponsor.
Sponsor 1: Jonah and Crow list some of the aquatic monsters in They Came from Beneath the Sea. Tom appears to be getting into it with what appears to be a razor-wielding octopus costume. However, he insists that it's his typical nighttime outfit and that any resemblance to the RPG is just coincidental. This is followed by Jonah reading the names of some Kickstarter backers.
Sponsor 2: Tom Servo and Crow are too preoccupied with organizing Crow's laserdisc collection. This leaves Jonah to recite the ad material given by BearManor Media leadenly. This is followed by Tom reading the names of some Kickstarter backers.
Sponsor 3: The plush Bendy has arrived from Joey Drew Studios, along with a Bendy drawstring bag. It disturbs Jonah, and Tom and Crow dispute on how to distribute their licensed goods. This is followed by Crow reading the names of some Kickstarter backers.
