A Tribute to Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is a special production that initially streamed on the Gizmoplex on December 13, 2022. It is preceded by the short Bicycling Visual Skills. The main feature is a presentation of Episode 321. At the point of the original episode's commercial breaks, there is either a Gizmoplex sponsor Madvertisement or an intermission/new host segment.
The Special[]
Host Segments[]
Segment One: Emily remarks on how this was the first Christmas movie to feature Mrs. Claus in the cast. Crow is wondering when Hollywood will feature other members of the Claus clan (aside from Fred) and proposes several potential candidates.
Segment Two: Jonah is composing a year-end holiday letter. Crow sees the tradition as speading a pack of lies to deceive your loved ones about how your year was. Jonah points out that it's more about focusing on the good stuff that happened, but he isn't getting through. Tom thinks there will be no need to lie about himself, on account on his personal awesomeness. Jonah reminds Tom about the time he used pancake batter as dishwasher detergent. But Tom manages to spin it to sound better, so Jonah writes in that version. They then come up with a way to improve the recounting of Crow's tendency to bite everything. But they struggle to come up with something for Jonah.
Segment Three: Emily is perturbed by the Mean Girl behavior Tom and Crow are currently exhibiting towards Torg. They make derisive cracks about his coffee can head, his cardboard box torso, his dryer vent arms, and his general random crap lying around construction. However, Emily points out how robots who live in glass satellites shouldn't throw stones. Tom and Crow are uncomfortable with this self-reflection, so go into denial. This is followed with Crow reading a letter from TV's Torgo.
Segment Four: Emily and Jonah are missing being on Earth during Christmas. Just telling Tom and Crow about it doesn't get through, so the Jet Screen is used to illustrate various quirky regional holiday traditions.
Segment Five: As Emily performs maintenance on the Bots, Crow notes how, despite being the laziest man on Mars, things worked out for Dropo. Over at Moon 1, Dr. Kabahl arrives to join Pearl and Synthia in some catty gossip.
Madvertisements[]
Sponsors are chosen by M. Waverly, who spins a wheel to choose the sponsor.
Sponsor 1: Bearmanor Media: Tom Servo and Crow are too preoccupied with organizing Crow's laserdisc collection. This leaves Jonah to recite the ad material given by BearManor Media leadenly. This is followed with Jonah reading off the names of Kickstarter backers.
Sponsor 2: Bendy (from Joey Drew Studios): The plush Bendy has arrived from Joey Drew Studios, along with a Bendy drawstring bag. It disturbs Jonah, and Tom and Crow dispute on how to distribute their licensed goods. This is followed with Crow reading off the names of Kickstarter backers.
Sponsor 3: Onyx Path Publishing: Jonah and Crow list some of the aquatic monsters in They Came from Beneath the Sea. Tom appears to be getting into it with what appears to be a razor-wielding octopus costume. However, he insists that it's his typical nighttime outfit and that any resemblance to the RPG is just coincidental. This is followed with Tom reading off the names of Kickstarter backers.
