As part of their experiments on the crew of the Satellite of Love, the Observers attempt to read Mike's mind. Crow T. Robot suggests that Mike think of Adrienne Barbeau, but Mike mishears and thinks of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, who appears and then beats him up. Mike then corrects himself and the Observers manifest Barbeau (Bridget Nelson) who greets the crew, then punches Mike in the face before being interrupted by Movie sign. Crow later expressed a desire to go on a date with her.

Notes[]

  • It is unclear if the Adrienne Barbeau who appeared on the Satellite of Love was the real person, pulled out of time and space by the Observers or some kind of biological life form that mimicked the original Adrienne Barbeau (presumably based on Mike's memory of her), or some kind of energy construct.
  • Barbeau says "...the Hell?" in confusion when Movie Sign occurs. The witch Lydia (also played by Bridget Nelson) would later use the same phrase when her transformation powers went haywire.
  • Adrienne Barbeau appeared in the adventure-comedy film Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death, which was played on at least one installment of USA Up All Night and was later part of the Thirteen Nights of Elvira event on Hulu.
  • Adrienne Barbeau appears in a promotional spot for an episode of Fantasy Island that was shown during the Movie Jo Night presentation of Satan's School for Girls.
