Aline Towne (1919-1996), born Fern Aline Waller, was an American actress best known for being the leading lady in several Republic serials. She also had an extensive television career, with appearances on The Adventures of Superman (one of which was as Superman's mother Lara in the pilot), The Lone Ranger, Leave It to Beaver, Sea Hunt, Wagon Train, and The Donna Reed Show.
