Arte Johnson (1929-2019) was an American actor and writer.
Arte Johnson was well-known as a member of the cast of the TV sketch comedy show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. His recurring characters included a dirty old man and a bespectacled man in a German military uniform who would appear from behind a plant and dispassionately describe something as "Very interesting...".
Later in his career, he provided voices for a large number of animated projects. He also had a recurring role on the TV soap opera General Hospital in 1991.
