Arthur Batanides (1923-2000) was an American actor who was often cast as a heavy. The bulk of his career consisted of doing guest spots on TV shows. Among the programs he appeared on are Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone, Gunsmoke, I Spy, The Wild Wild West, Gomer Pyle: USMC, Mission: Impossible, The Odd Couple, Wonder Woman, and Happy Days. His final film role was as Mr. Kirkland in several installments of the Police Academy series.
