Arthur "Art" Metrano (1936-2021) was an American comedian and actor. He gained some fame in the early 1970s for appearing on TV talk shows performing inane "magic" tricks, such as making his fingers "jump" from one hand to the other while he sang the melody of the 1930s song "Fine and Dandy" (Joel makes reference to this when Metrano first appears in Episode #205).
He later played the antagonist Mauser in the second and third Police Academy films.
