Bad Ronald is a 1974 made-for-TV thriller based on the novel by John Holbrook Vance.
Plot[]
Ronald Wilby, a creative but socially-awkward teenager, accidentally kills a girl in his neighborhood who had been taunting him. In order to protect him, Ronald's mother hides him in a secret room in their house and leads the police to believe that he has run away. Ronald's mother plans to keep him hidden until they can move.
Ronald's mother dies unexpectedly and the house is sold. The new owners move in, unaware that Ronald is still hidden in the house. Ronald becomes fixated on the new residents' beautiful teenage daughter.
