Barnicle Bob was a rugged sea-faring man who was drawn to Castle Forrester by the irresistible siren song of Bobo, who had been turned into a Mer-Monkey by Pearl. Bob was a thin man with a beard who wore a cap and a peacoat.
Barnicle Bob attempted to woo Bobo, but Bobo haughtily rebuffed him. Bob then left, rejected.

- The character is listed in the credits as "Barnicle Bob". The more common spelling is "barnacle". This may have been an attempt to imply some sub-literate status for Bob (that is, that he did not know how to spell his own name). It could also have been a simple typographical error.
