Synopsis[]
The adult offspring of a wealthy landowner are shocked to discover that their mother is a vampire, and that their father has been keeping her chained in the basement of their family home.

- This film was nominated for four FAMAS Awards (the Filipino equivalent of the Oscars), including Best Picture and Best Director. Amalia Fuentes won for Best Actress.
- That same year, actor Eddie Garcia won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in a different film. He was also nominated for Best Director for the film Sabotage. He had previously won the award for Best Supporting Actor three years in a row (from 1957 to 1959) and remains the only actor to have done so.
