Carla Sands (nee Herd, born 1960) is an American diplomat, chiropractor, and former actress. She had a recurring role on the TV soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in 1987.
Ms. Sands became the United States Ambassador to Denmark during the administration of President Donald Trump. She was vocally supportive of Trump during August of 2019 when he made controversial comments about attempting to purchase Greenland from Denmark. Ms. Sands' appearance in Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell (and its subsequent use on Mystery Science Theater 3000) was noted by some news outlets and on Twitter.
