Notes[]
Released in early May 1936, Catching Trouble is the oldest piece of material used on Mystery Science Theater 3000. The first installment of Undersea Kingdom was not released until later that same month. RiffTrax would later use the 1902 silent short A Trip to the Moon,[1] which is the oldest production used by any MST3K corollary to date.
The version shown on MST3K is a 1950s TV print from National Telefilm Associates, who had acquired Paramount's pre-1950 short-subject library.
