Dabney Coleman (1932 - 2024) was an American actor.
Coleman co-starred in many notable films, including 9 to 5, On Golden Pond, and Tootsie. He appeared in the film adaptations of the TV series Dragnet, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Inspector Gadget.
On television, Coleman starred on the series Buffalo Bill, Drexell's Class, and Madman of the People. He had a recurring role on the prestige drama Boardwalk Empire (several episodes of which were directed by Timothy Van Patten).
