David Hartman (born May 19, 1935) is an American actor and television personality. He is known for his height (6'5") and avuncular but authoritative demeanor.
Hartman's career as an actor lasted from 1962 to 1975. He then transitioned to hosting and voice-over. He co-hosted the popular morning news-and-information show Good Morning America for eleven years.
