Demon Squad is a 2019 supernatural horror film directed, co-written, and co-produced by Thomas Smith.

Plot

"Time to steam some punks."

Nick Moon, a struggling paranormal investigator, gets recruited by a wealthy client to recover a dangerous supernatural artifact that has been stolen. This case intersects with mysterious murder than the police can't explain. With the help of his sardonic (and slightly psychic) assistant, Nick faces monsters and dark creatures during his attempt to solve the case.

  During one of the Livestream events for the second Kickstarter campaign, Joel Hodgson announced that Demon Squad would be used during Season 13.
• During Turkey Day '21, it was announced that Demon Squad would be the film used in Episode 1306. It premiered on June 24, 2022.
• Filmed in Alabama in 2015 and made on a budget of $15,000.
• Demon Squad is currently the most recently-released film to have been riffed on MST3K. It is the second film used on the show to be released in the 2010s, following Atlantic Rim.
• On June 27, 2022 (the Monday after Episode 1306 premiered in the Gizmoplex), director Thomas Smith tweeted his appreciation to the MST3K cast, crew, and fans.
