Doodles Weaver (1912-1983) was born Winstead Sheffield Glenndenning Dixon Weaver. He was an American actor and television personality. His pseudonym was derived from his childhood nickname "Doodlebug".
As an undergraduate student at Stanford University, Doodles Weaver for known for playing practical jokes. Weaver initially enjoyed success on radio, performing with the Spike Jones Orchestra. He later hosted a daily children's television program in Los Angeles in the 1950s, which may have inspired the inclusion of his character in Kitten with a Whip.
Doodles Weaver was the uncle of actor Sigourney Weaver. One of his wives was actor Reita Green.
