Earth

Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the location of most "lairs" used by the various "Mads" running the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" experiments, including the Gizmonic Institute, Deep 13, Deep Ape and Castle Forrester. The various test subjects have also been natives of Earth and returning to the planet has often been the goal of those subjects. When Mike Nelson, Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo were facing an imminent return to Earth following the decommissioning of The Satellite of Love, Crow's nervousness prompted Mike to sing a tribute to the planet, "To Earth". Later, in the future, the Earth would be destroyed by a nuclear bomb, although this future may have been averted by changes in the timeline.
