Edward Platt (1916-1974) was an American actor.
Platt is best-known for playing the put-upon Chief of CONTROL on the TV spy comedy Get Smart. He also had roles in many notable films including North by Northwest, Rebel Without a Cause, and Disney's Pollyanna.
