Eleanor Parker (1922-2013) was an American actor born in Cedarville, Ohio. She was known for playing sophisticated characters, including Baroness Elsa Von Schraeder in the film adaptation of the stage musical The Sound of Music (with Christopher Plummer).
Eleanor Parker was nominated for an Academy Award three times during her career, but never won.
