Fantasy Island is an anthology television series that ran from 1977 to 1984. It centers on a tropical island where visitors are able to come and live out their fantasies. Most episodes follow several visitors whose storylines rarely intersect. The tone of the stories range from light-hearted to macabre.
Fantasy Island has been rebooted on television twice, first in 1998 (for one season) and again in 2021 (for two seasons). It also inspired a 2020 supernatural-horror film that was ostensibly a prequel to the original series.
