Arnold Schwarzenegger (born July 30, 1947 in Thal, Austria) is an Austrian actor and politician best known for portraying the title roles in the Conan and Terminator franchises.
Schwarzenegger first came to international prominence as a bodybuilder, then pivoted to acting. Among his other early roles, he played Hercules in the 1970 film Hercules in New York, and Mickey Hargitay in the 1980 made-for-TV biopic The Jayne Mansfield Story opposite Loni Anderson as Mansfield. Schwarzenegger later shifted his attention to politics, becoming the Governor of California in 2003. He served two terms and left office in 2011.
Several of Schwarzenegger's iconic roles include notable lines or catchphrases, many of which were referenced on MST3K.
