It Came from Outer Space is a 1953 science fiction film directed by Jack Arnold. It is based on a short story by the highly-regarded science-fiction writer Ray Bradbury.
Plot[]
An alien spaceship lands outside a small town, and the only witness is a newcomer who is not trusted by the locals. The townsfolk soon begin to act strangely, and only the witness to the spaceship landing suspects the cause.

- A made-for-TV sequel was produced in 1996. It did not feature any of the original cast or crew.
