Jeff Gillen (1942-1995) was an American actor. His best-known film role is as the department store Santa Claus in A Christmas Story, who famously responds to Ralphie's request for an air rifle with "You'll shoot yer eye out, kid."
Among his other films, Gillen also appeared in Beyond the Bermuda Triangle, a made-for-TV movie that was considered for Season 6 of Mystery Science Theater 3000, but went unused.[1]
