Joanna Lee (1931-2003) was an American actor, writer, director and producer.
Ms. Lee's acting career spanned from 1956 to 1961, with one additional on-screen performance in the 1974 film A Pocket Filled with Dreams which she also wrote and directed. She pivoted to writing and producing. She wrote for several popular television series, including Gilligan's Island, The Flintstones, The Waltons, and Dynasty.
The 1994 film Ed Wood re-creates some scenes from Plan 9 from Outer Space in which Joanna Lee appears as Tanna, but the performer playing her does not speak and is not credited.
