John "Bud" Cardos (1929-2020) was an American filmmaker who had worked as an actor, director, producer, and stunt man, among other positions. Some of his earliest jobs were working as a bird handler for the Alfred Hitchcock films Psycho and The Birds. His career after that was spent mostly working in B movies.
