Last Clear Chance is a 1959 short film about driving safety produced on behalf of the Union Pacific Railroad.

Plot[]

Friendly Patrolman Hal Jackson visits the Dixon family to instruct their youngest son Alan on safe and courteous driving. He relates some grisly tales of young drivers. Jackson's strongest advice in to pay attention, but Alan's older brother Frank Jr. isn't listening. Frank Jr. later drives with his girlfriend Betty into the path of an oncoming train while turning around and waving at the car behind him.
