Leonard Nimoy
Leonard Nimoy (1931 - 2015) was an American stage, film and television actor best known for playing Vulcan science officer Spock on the various Star Trek incarnations. He was also an accomplished film and television director, art photographer, and poet.
Leonard Nimoy was also a recording artist, releasing five music albums between 1967 and 1970. Some of these albums included novelty songs with him performing in character as Spock. Other releases included covers of popular songs (from the genres of pop, folk, and country) of the day, as well as original compositions.
In addition to Star Trek, Nimoy had a regular role on Mission: Impossible as Paris. He also co-starred in the 1978 remake of the film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and he hosted the documentary TV series In Search Of.
Mr. Nimoy lent his voice to several animated projects and he narrated various documentary series. He played a fictionalized version of himself on the animated series The Simpsons and Futurama.

- Leonard Nimoy can be heard narrating a promotional spot for In Search Of that was shown during the Movie Jo Night presentation of The Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew Mysteries.
- In 1972, Nimoy starred in the made-for-TV movie Baffled!, which was the pilot for a planned TV series that did not go to production. A promotional spot for Baffled! was shown during the Movie Jo Night presentation of Death Car on the Freeway, several months before it became a Movie Jo Night presentation itself.
