Behind-the-scenes[]

  • This seventh Night of Shorts was the Mads' fourth livestream event of 2022.
  • The event took place on April 12, 2022.
  • The event was produced by Chris Gersbeck.
  • Unlike most of the previous livestream events, the Mads were not joined by a guest.
  • At the conclusion of the event, it was announced that the next livestream would take place on May 10th and feature a riff of The Brain That Wouldn't Die.
  • This event had been planned to include the second installment of The Adventures of Captain Marvel serial (the first of which had been used during the fifth Night of Shorts). This plan was changed when the Mads learned that RiffTrax was also planning to riff the entire Captain Marvel serial. The Mads riffing of part 2 of Captain Marvel was later made available for purchase through the Dumb Industries website.
