Quotes & References[]

  • "I'm just filming this Hulk movie, leave me alone..."
Nick Nolte played the villain in the 2003 feature film Hulk, which was not well-received.
  • "When that mug shot came out of Nick Nolte, he should have just said 'No that's from that movie Death Sentence, come on...'"
In 2002, Nick Nolte was arrested for driving under the influence. His mug shot (in which he appears disheveled in a Hawaiian shirt) was widely circulated.
  • "God I hope I get it, I hope I get it..."
These are lyrics from a song in the musical A Chorus Line, which is about actors auditioning for a show.
  • "He's a never-nude, he won't let me in!"
The term "never-nude" (known clinically as gymnophobia) refers to someone who is so self-conscious about their naked body that they never completely undress (including when bathing and during intimacy). The term was popularized after being used on the TV comedy Arrested Development.
  • "That guy's like a Gavin MacLeod doppelganger."
Gavin MacLeod played Murray on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Captain Stubing on The Love Boat. Actor Alan Oppenheimer resembles him.
  • "I'm holding out for-" "A hero."
"Holding Out For a Hero" is a 1984 rock song that was popularized by singer Bonnie Tyler in the movie Footloose.
  • "It's The Shining now."
The climax of the 1980 horror movie The Shining depicts an abusive husband chasing his wife through an empty isolated hotel in an attempt to murder her.
