- In Alfred Hitchcock's horror film Psycho and its sequels, the mentally-disturbed motel operator Norman Bates lives in a very distinct house at the top of a hill. The exterior of the house in this episode does seem to be the Psycho house (which is part of the tour at Universal Studios), but it has since been renovated and has a different front porch.
