Cavalcade is the 6th short released as part of Season 13. It was first shown during the Tribute to Secret Agent Super Dragon livestream event.

Short vignettes about a variety of topics are presented.

Pearl introduces the short, and is surprised to see that it has been assigned to her and Dr. Erhardt to riff.

• The location of the Mystery Science Theater used in this short is not made clear, as there is no hallway sequence.
• This is the first time that Dr. Erhardt has ever appeared in the theater to riff.
• This is the first time that Pearl has appeared in the theater to riff since Episode 913.
• This was the first time that human characters had riffed a movie without robots since the Mirror Mads did it in Episode 611.
• This is the first time that Mary Jo Pehl and J. Elvis Weinstein have riffed a recorded project together since the end of Cinematic Titanic.

Quotes & References

• "Ea... A... oe's."

This is apparently a reference to the song "Old Joe's Place" by the musical trio The Folksmen, first featured on the late-night sketch comedy TV show Saturday Night Live and later in the mockumentary film A Mighty Wind. A line of the song encourages visitors to "...Look for the busted neon sign that flashes 'Ea... A... oe's'." (which presumably should read "Eat at Joe's").
