Mara Corday (born 1930 as Marilyn Joan Watts) is an actress who got her start in show business by auditioning as a dancer in Earl Carroll's Vanities at the age of fifteen. Later she signed as a contract player at Universal Studios, where she was primarily a leading lady in B westerns and science fiction movies. Her most renowned credit in the latter genre was the 1955 film Tarantula (with John Agar). Late in her career, she received several minor roles in Clint Eastwood productions, most notably in Sudden Impact.
