  • I have something I want to add to the Cave Dwellers article, and when I can I will add that edit, but what I want to know is if it's okay to add 2 youtube links in the trivial section of the article because what I'll be adding will need the links to point to what's being descibed.

    • Yeah both of them have been up for quite a while. It's the whole ep, and it's the whole movie but I'm going to be pointing to the exact timing in the movie and explaining why as to the references made in the closing host segment. Then I will drop you a note here and you can go take a look and fix whatever may need fixing.

  • Given the violation of fair use I unwittingly committed just over a year ago, I thought you might appreciate to know that I just took the image placeholder off my profile, to make clear that I have no intention of ever uploading anything again.  I take responsibility for my crime and am fully committed to making myself pay for it - which I had already been doing by going totally inactive, but now I have really done my part to make sure you can rest easy now.

  • ...do you have a PM feature?

  • do you by any chance have the audio for this? and if so, could you possibly send it to me? i've been wondering about the differences between the old and current version, plus the track that isn't on the current version.

  • "was married to" carries an implication that they are no longer married. "married Bridget Jones" or even "got married to Bridget Jones" does not have that connotation.

  • As of today, whenever I click on a link at this wiki (as well as the RiffTrax wiki), I get a pop-up asking if I want to leave the page. Normally, I only get these when I leave an editing form without saving my work. But now it's happening every time I click a link here. Any idea what's going on and how it can be fixed?

    • Internal (within the wiki), external or both?

        Loading editor
    • If I follow you correctly both, since I get the pop-up when I leave the wiki for another site.

    • But if you're just going to another page on the wiki, do you get the message? Also, have you tried a different browser? I'm not having the problem you are.

    • So, right after I wrote that, it happened to me. But it's only on Internet Explorer. I think it's something on Wikia/Fandom's end, since it's happening with IE on all of the wikis I tried.

  • If there's a performer or filmmaker who is credited in multiple films/projects but their entry only includes a picture from 1 of their projects, are we still calling that a Stub?

Or can the Stub category be removed once there's 1 picture (and the entry is complete otherwise)?

      Loading editor
    • I think "Stub" should only refer to articles that need more information. Lack of photos shouldn't enter into it.

Speaking of photos, are you checking the "unused photos" to see if any that are in there could be used under those circumstances? I'm trying to get that cleaned out.

        Loading editor
    • I had not been. I'll keep that in mind.

I do think that any article that doesn't contain at least one photo should be considered a Stub, though.

  • I just uploaded another image of the cover for "Viking Women and the Sea Serpent," not realizing the wiki already had one.  Can you delete the duplicate, please?

  • Hi Darth.

Are we going with assumption that the film order shown in the trailer will be the actual episode order?

      Loading editor
  • Hi Darth. I wanted to get your opinion on something:

Someone on youtube has uploaded a version of the CT production of The Astral Factor. It seems to be audio from the audience, that is to say a bootleg, synced to the movie.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLmkPOK9cMI

Would it be appropriate to link to it or make reference to it on this Wiki? I wouldn't want to get the person who posted it in trouble, but I'm sure that MST3K/CT fans will be interested.

    Thoughts?

    • I was intending at some point to make a page for Astral Factor, since we do have some kind of record of its performance, thanks to the bootleg.

I think it's fine to mention that it was uploaded (since it's a matter of record), but I say let's not link to it. Commercials, clips, bumpers...those are fine. Links to official uploads are too, of course. But full-blown bootleg material, like unauthorized episodes, etc. are best avoided.

    • Fair enough. I made a page for it on the CT Wiki with some screen grabs.
