I have something I want to add to the Cave Dwellers article, and when I can I will add that edit, but what I want to know is if it's okay to add 2 youtube links in the trivial section of the article because what I'll be adding will need the links to point to what's being descibed.
Both are to do with the episode Cave Dwellers. I found the original movie had been uploaded to yt and wanted to point to the 2 scenes the SOL crew referenced in the final host segment. They reference 3 scenes while showing the continuity issues, but one of them is actually in the episode. The other 2 were not. And I wanted to point to where those happen in the original as compared to the mst ep.
Also the quote at the top of the Cave Dwellers page is 3 lines but there's a space that makes it look like 2 lines.
Got it. So just links to the YouTube video that point to the exact spot in the video? That should be fine. I just worry about links like that going down. But if it's been up for a while, it's probably safe. As for the spacing issue, I can take a look tomorrow.
Yeah both of them have been up for quite a while. It's the whole ep, and it's the whole movie but I'm going to be pointing to the exact timing in the movie and explaining why as to the references made in the closing host segment. Then I will drop you a note here and you can go take a look and fix whatever may need fixing.
Given the violation of fair use I unwittingly committed just over a year ago, I thought you might appreciate to know that I just took the image placeholder off my profile, to make clear that I have no intention of ever uploading anything again. I take responsibility for my crime and am fully committed to making myself pay for it - which I had already been doing by going totally inactive, but now I have really done my part to make sure you can rest easy now.
do you by any chance have the audio for this? and if so, could you possibly send it to me? i've been wondering about the differences between the old and current version, plus the track that isn't on the current version.
As of today, whenever I click on a link at this wiki (as well as the RiffTrax wiki), I get a pop-up asking if I want to leave the page. Normally, I only get these when I leave an editing form without saving my work. But now it's happening every time I click a link here. Any idea what's going on and how it can be fixed?
I was intending at some point to make a page for Astral Factor, since we do have some kind of record of its performance, thanks to the bootleg.
I think it's fine to mention that it was uploaded (since it's a matter of record), but I say let's not link to it. Commercials, clips, bumpers...those are fine. Links to official uploads are too, of course. But full-blown bootleg material, like unauthorized episodes, etc. are best avoided.
