Michael Whalen (1902-1974) was an American actor whose career in films and television spanned 30 years. His birth name was Joseph Shovlin, and he was sometimes credited as "Michael Whelan".
Whalen's notable film roles include two appearances alongside Shirley Temple, in Poor Little Rich Girl and Wee Willie Winkie.
