Mickey Hargitay (1926-2006) was an actor and bodybuilder born in Budapest, Hungary (as Miklós Hargitay). Hargitay's voice was occasionally over-dubbed in films to remove his Hungarian accent.
Hargitay's second wife was Jayne Mansfield. They were married from 1958 until 1964 (after she obtained a divorce in Mexico), and they had 3 children together.
Hargitay's daughter Mariska co-starred on the long-running television drama Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Mickey Hargitay's last acting role was on an episode of this series in 2003.
