Movie Jo Night is a comedy livestream starring Mary Jo Pehl that debuted on Twitch on September 27, 2021. On the show, Mary Jo watches a movie she has never seen before. As the livestreams have continued, Movie Jo Night has gravitated more towards using content produced for television (primarily made-for-TV movies). Movie Jo Night is presented under the umbrella of Mary Jo's primary stream, The Mary Jo Pehl Show. Mary Jo comments and riffs on the show while interacting with live chat. In later episodes, producer Chris Gersbeck of Dumb Industries began joining while Mary Jo watches the film.
Movie Jo Night has been free to watch when each episode has gone live or was rerun on Twitch. Most episodes were then available to channel subscribers on demand after the live run concluded.
On September 30, 2022, Dumb Industries announced The Mary Jo Pehl Show Clubhouse, a new streaming platform for The Mary Jo Pehl Show and its special events, including Movie Jo Night. While The Mary Jo Pehl Show has continued on Twitch, Movie Jo Night moved to the Clubhouse, where it is available to stream live for $1 a month or On Demand for either $5 or $10 a month.[1]
Episodes of Movie Jo Night are not made available for download and some have been pulled from on-demand access because of copyright concerns.
