Noah Beery Jr. (1913-1994) was an American actor who is the nephew of Oscar-winning actor Wallace Beery. He got an early start in film, appearing with his father Noah Beery Sr. in The Mark of Zorro at the age of seven. While his filmography includes many A pictures (including Red River, Of Mice and Men, and Sergeant York), they've always involved supporting roles. In television, he's best known for portraying Joseph "Rocky" Rockford on The Rockford Files.
