Prince of Space is a 1959 Japanese science-fiction film.
Plot[]
Invaders from the planet Krankor, led by their ruler Phantom, come to Earth. A superhero called Prince of Space opposes defeat the spacemen. Although the weapons of the aliens cannot harm the Prince of Space, the Phantom and his forces continue to fight, and capture a group of elderly scientists. [1]Price of Space must rescue the scientists and defeat the aliens.

- This Toei production was released to theaters as a serial with two episodes that were each approximately one hour long. These were edited into a single 95-minute-long feature film for release in the United States.
- Prince of Space was inspired by some of the popular Superhero television series in Japan of the time. It has many elements in common with the series Planet Prince, which was itself inspired by the successful series Super Giant.
- This film has been released on DVD in the United States in a 2-pack with Invasion of the Neptune Men, which had the same writer, production company, and American distributor. There are no other connections between the two films.
