René Cardona Jr. (1939-2003) was a Mexican filmmaker and actor who often worked in Italian co-productions. He has gained notoriety for his inhumane treatment of animals that were used in his productions.
He is the son of his namesake René Cardona, with whom he has worked on many of the same films.
