Robert Vaughn (1932-2016) was an American actor whose career spanned 50 years.
Vaughan appeared in many notable films, including The Magnificent Seven, Bullitt, The Towering Inferno, and Superman III. He also worked extensively on television, including his role on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. as Napoleon Solo.
In addition to his dramatic and action-oriented roles, Robert Vaughn had a strong sense of humor and he played several comedic parts during his career. He hosted the comedy TV series Danger Theater, which also starred Adam West. Vaughn appeared with West during Turkey Day '94, in which he introduced a showing of Episode #315.
Robert Vaughn has no known relation to Baron Vaughn.

- Robert Vaughn co-starred in the 1980 science-fiction film Battle Beyond the Stars, which was identified as one of the films planned to be used in the potential Season 14 of Mystery Science Theater 3000. That crowd-funding effort was not successful, and it remains to be seen if Battle Beyond the Stars will be used on MST3K in the future.
