Notes[]
- Originally broadcast on February 25, 1977.
- Actors George Maharis and Martin Milner had previously co-starred on the TV light drama Route 66 together.
- SST- Death Flight was originally developed under the title Death of the Maiden. This proved to be too similar to the title of the pilot episode for the 1973 Jimmy Stewart TV series Hawkins, "Death and the Maiden".[1]
- In 1979, Universal Pictures released the similarly-themed The Concorde... Airport '79, which was such a commercial failure that it ended the popular series of Airport movies and served as a strong indicator of the decline of the disaster movie genre in general.
