Scream of the Wolf is a 1974 made-for-TV thriller based on a short story by David F. Case.

Plot[]

A series of deaths from apparent animal attacks draws the attention of a former hunter-turned-novelist.

Originally broadcast on ABC-TV on Wednesday, January 16, 1974.
Producer/Director Dan Curtis had previously created the supernatural serialized drama Dark Shadows. He worked on the first two TV movies featuring the character Carl Kolchak (who was portrayed by Darren McGavin), and he would later direct the highly-regarded made-for-TV movie Trilogy of Terror (starring Karen Black).

Peter Graves also portrayed Paul Whitley in SST- Death Flight, Paul Nelson in It Conquered the World, the narrator in Attack of the the Eye Creatures, Ed Wainwright in Beginning of the End, and Jeff Knight in Parts: The Clonus Horror.
Philip Carey also portrayed Steve Connors in The Time Travelers.
Bill Baldwin (reporter) also portrayed the TV announcer in Beginning of the End and the patrol boat dispatcher in Revenge of the Creature.
Bonnie Van Dyke (girl) also portrayed a girl in a pickup in It Lives by Night.
Chuck Hayward (tracker) also portrayed a walker man in Parts: The Clonus Horror.
Shep Houghton (bartender) also portrayed a military attaché in Invasion USA and had an unspecified role in Kitten with a Whip.
Assistant director Bill Lukather was also assistant director for It Lives by Night.
Prop master C. Randall Berkely was also property master for SST- Death Flight.
Special effects technician Roger George also did special effects for The Human Duplicators, The Amazing Transparent Man, and Avalanche.
Production administrator Elliot Friedgen was also production executive for Hangar 18.
