Susan Cabot (July 9, 1927 – December 10, 1986) was an American actress. Born Harriet Pearl Shapiro, she had a difficult life, which many believe resulted from her childhood during which was raised in 8 different foster homes. She was married at age 17, though that marriage later ended. She engaged in several high-profile romances (including with Jordan's King Hussein, and director Roger Corman), and eventually married actor Michael Roman.
Susan Cabot and King Hussein had a son Timothy, who was born with the medical condition known as dwarfism. She retired from acting and became increasingly mentally unstable. Her son reportedly bludgeoned her to death with a weight-lifting bar, later claiming to authorities that she had subjected him to a long period of mental and physical abuse.
