“ | O Manos... thou of primal darkness! Thou who dwelleth in the depth of the universe in the black chasms of night! Thou who bestoweth the mother darkness upon thy faithful, to live eternally in her keeping. Thou dost make him most blessed forever! And thou who dost cursed with eternal burning life those whom transrest against thee! Holy art thou, holy art thou, holy art thou! Manos will be done! Thy priesthood remains steadfast, thy priesthood remains constant, thy priesthood remains righteous. Thou hast taught us, O Manos, and we hath listened. Give ear to our words, O Manos, and hear us! Hear us! Hear us! For we are faithful and thou art our God. | ” |

The Master is the principal villain in the movie "Manos" The Hands of Fate. He is the undead leader of a cult that worships the god Manos. He owns a property called the Valley Lodge somewhere in Texas.
The Master has an assistant named Torgo, who takes care of the place while he is away. The Master has several wives, who all wear diaphanous nightgowns and engage in full contact nightgown wrestling.
In 1966 a family consisting of two parents - Michael and Margaret - and a young daughter named Debbie arrive at the Valley Lodge after getting lost in the Texas back country. Michael is able to talk Torgo into letting them spend the night there, even though The Master does not approve. Upon catching wind of the family's arrival The Master decides he wants Margaret as his wife, but Torgo is determined not to let this happen - thinking that its well past time for him to have his own wife.
Torgo stumbles back into an area called the tomb where the Master and his wives stay in suspended animation. Torgo gets really handsy with the wives while they are in that state, and the women remember everything he says and does. They in turn report that to the Master when he awakens.
The Master eventually decides that he's had enough of Torgo, and goes to fetch him from the Valley Lodge. Meanwhile the wives begin arguing, and soon the situation turns into a full on nightgown fight. The Master soon comes back with Torgo in tow and breaks up the fight. He has Torgo massaged almost to death by the wives, and then pulls off one of Torgo's hands by sticking it in the fire.
The Master finally manages to corner the family in the lodge. He not only takes Margaret as one of his wives, but he also disgustingly takes Debbie as a wife also. Meanwhile Michael is at the Valley Lodge, having taken the place of Torgo as the one who takes care of the place while The Master is away.
