The Million Eyes of Sumuru is a 1967 thriller directed by Lindsay Shonteff.

Plot[]

A secret society of women use violence and seduction in an effort to overthrow the world's patriarchal power structure. They are opposed by American and British intelligence agents.

  • In some materials (i.e. posters), the villainess' name is spelt Su-Muru. The title card of the film as used by Mystery Science Theater 3000 spells it "Sumuru".
  • The Million Eyes of Sumuru became a RiffTrax presentation in 2019.
  • A pseudo-sequel entitled The Girl from Rio was released in 1969. It also starred Shirley Eaton and became a RiffTrax presentation in 2019.
  • During Turkey Day '21, it was announced that The Million Eyes of Sumuru would be used in Episode 1309. It premiered on September 2, 2022.
