The Naked Clone - A Nick Nolte Mystery is a satirical detective novel by the principal writers at RiffTrax. It envisions actor Nick Nolte as a detective solving a series of kidnappings in Hollywood. The cover illustration is by cartoonist Bob Fingerman and depicts Nolte, Joe Don Baker and Mickey Rourke.
The book was written by Conor Lastowka, Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett and Sean Thomason, with each writer writing a chapter and then passing the book to the next writer, with no planning ahead of time or plot coordination. There are sixteen chapters and an epilogue. No indication is given as to what material was written by each writer.

Former movie star Nick Nolte works as a private detective in Los Angeles. He supplements his income with scrounging and theft.
Nolte is hired to investigate the disappearance of a number of prominent movie studio executives. This brings him into conflict with several unscrupulous characters.
