The Simpsons is an American television show on Fox about a yellow-skinned family in the town of Springfield. In the episode Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part 1), if you look closely at the television screen at Moe's Tavern, at the bottom of the movie is an MST3K silhouette
Previous MST3K cast member Josh Weinstein changed his name to "J. Elvis Weinstein" to avoid confusion with a Simpsons writer also named Josh Weinstein. Mike, Joel, and the bots have often used lines from the series to riff various movies as well.
