MST3K Connections

  • Previous MST3K cast member Josh Weinstein changed his performing name to "J. Elvis Weinstein" to avoid confusion with a Simpsons writer also named Josh Weinstein.
  • Several riffs used by Mike, Joel, and the 'Bots (as well as Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax) have come from The Simpsons, such as "Mendoza!!!", and various quotes that mimic the voices of Snake (the jailbird) and Comic Book Guy.
  • Dana Gould was a long-time writer and co-producer on The Simpsons, for which he received several Emmy Awards. He also provided voices in a number of episodes.
  • Patton Oswalt has provided voiced for 2 episodes "The Day the Earth Stood Cool" and "The Cad and the Hat".
