The Tube is a large hydraulic tube used by Kinga Forrester to transport people between various locations. It bears some similarities to the Umbilicus.
During Season 11 and 12, Jonah Heston was required to recreate his initial capture as a title sequence. Beginning with Experiment #1101, the Tube would extract him from the Satellite of Love and drop him into his Backjack (located in Moon 13) to begin the sequence.
Following Kinga's relocation to Moon 1, the Tube was no longer used during the title sequence, but eventually resurfaced to transport personnel between the various Satellites and Simulators of Love.
