Thom Christopher (1940-2024) was an actor known to science-fiction fans for his portrayal of Hawk, a half-man half-bird warrior who was a regular character in the second season of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. He is also known for his portrayal of mobster Carlo Hesser on the soap opera One Life to Live.
Thom Christopher has also appeared in many films including Roger Corman's Space Raiders, Andy Colby's Incredible Adventure, Street Hunter (with Reb Brown), Blood and Wine (with Jack Nicholson), Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot, Bridget, The Warrior Class (with Robert Vaughn) and the 2016 drama ADDicted.
On television, Thom Christopher portrayed various characters on T.J. Hooker (starring William Shatner), Simon & Simon, Murder, She Wrote, and the Law & Order franchise. He had recurring guest roles on the popular police drama Kojak, as well as the soap operas Guiding Light and One Life to Live.
